Here you can see for example that I target 1 Explosive (I dont target much because of mouseover macro) and hit 101 Explosives which makes 66.9% of the total explosives on the dungeon. The data will show you how many Explosives people target, hit, and Explosive percentage. Once downloaded, you can open a new window on details and set it up under Scripts -> Explosive Orbs " - Credit to Fermi_Dirac for this comment.ĭetails Set-Up: If you want to track how many explosives each person in the group is doing, you can download the Details!: Explosive Orbs Plugin from Curse Forge. To change this, just delete the second line on the macro.Ĭhange Frost Shock for the name of any spell you want to use instead.ĮDIT: " As a pet class, you can make a mouse over macro for pet attack and pet follow, so you don't even use a gcd ' /petattack ' You can add in a dash cast for hunters too so it's very quick. The stop cast might not be the best option for dps. With this, you can hover the Explosive itself or the nameplate, and will work still.įor added speed in my case, my mouse over macro also has a stop cast to ensure I focus on Explosives quickly (resto shammy here). All you have to do after is just mouseover the explosive (which it should be easy to see at this point) and one-shot it without clicking on it or target it. You can create a mouseover macro for any instant one-shot spell (like frost shock for shammy). Something that helps me also is to set my nameplates to stack on each other instead of an overlap. The blue nameplate is from Threat Plates while the pink border is from the weakaura. Here you can see my weakaura and nameplates final setup. *Here is where you can change the color of the Explosives nameplate, transparency, scale, etc. To do this on Threat Plates, you would need to go to settings (/tptp) -> Custom Nameplates -> New This will make the explosives pop right away on your screen. I use threat plates and have it set up to show Explosives in color blue with 0% transparency (my normal transparency for everything else except my target is 50%). The option is located under Custom OptionsĬustom nameplate for Explosives: I recommend this for added visibility. To change the weakaura border color, effect, or sound (you can choose different ones). Edit: the weakaura also shows you the number if explosives that are currently up. This weakaura will proc a sound for every single Explosive that spawns, which makes it great considering some will spawn somewhere away from your camera view (bosses especially, like the 2nd and 3rd boss on MoTS where explosives can spawn literally anywhere). But the most important part is the sound. Here are some things that help me manage and track this affix:Įxplosive weakaura: I use this one This weakaura makes the Explosives nameplate glow/have a border for visibility (mine is pink). It only takes 2 to 3 orbs to go off for a full wipe. Hello there! I got a fair amount of messages in regards to a couple of tips I gave in the weekly mythic threat and I figured to share a post with as much detail as I can.Įxplosives can get out of control quickly, especially on large pulls or during boss fights if left alone. please consider your class/role/situation This post is not intended to say that Explosives should be your main priority, but it is intended to help you manage the affix if you struggle with it. I also made this post on a Fortified+Enraged+Explosives week: although the Explosives affix is mostly handled by the healer/tank, this week affix rotation is extremely challenging (personal opinion) and hard to hit everything on critical points of the pull. Focus on explosives might not be the best for some classes/roles, and this post will not tell you otherwise.
